Mission/Vision
The Youth Voices Research Group is an action research unit based in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. Youth Voices seeks to promote Youth Engagement, Expression, Empowerment and Exchange through youth-driven media and participatory research.

Youth Voices works locally and internationally to involve young people from diverse backgrounds in issue identification, community action and global education. Our focus is on the use of media arts and technologies for community development and applied research. This "youth in action" approach combines youth engagement, youth media, e-Health and knowledge exchange through evidence-based resources and best practices.

Opportunities for Youth
Youth are integrally involved in all stages of project design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Youth involvement mechanisms include focus groups, working groups, student placements, employed positions, advisory groups, quality review groups, youth forums, reality checks and evaluations.
