OBJECTIVES
• Contribute to the sustained education and support of orphaned vulnerable children.
• Communally identify major challenges affecting the youth like HIV/AIDS impact, Unemployment and Poverty and possibly find lasting solutions to them through a participatory approach.
• Promote peaceful co-existence through non violent activities like music dance and drama,hosting themed games and sports.
• Promote the deepening of faith and cultural values that supports a high degree of moral behavior and gender sensitive society.

Youth Vision Uganda is an indigenous non profit making, non governmental youth led community based organization that was formed by local youth professionals in December 2005 and registered with Gulu District Local Government – Department of Community Development Service in 2006. It was established in an attempt to answer to the needs of the less privileged members of the society –especially the youth and children through provision of quality education and training initiative.

Youth Vision Uganda initially started with an early childhood development education model centre, functional adult literacy program for the child mothers and soccer for development program as part of the process of encountering all the youth and children in the area realize their potentials as human beings.

Up to date the major activities of Youth Vision Uganda focuses on providing quality early childhood development, placement and support to children living at grass root level in primary school and psychosocial support. All these activities are delivered through direct implementation with the target beneficiaries and the community involved.
