Youth NGO Iskra is a non-profit, non-governmental youth organisation established in Mykolaiv in 2004 and working nationally as well as internationally.
Our mission is to participate in the building of a multicultural, tolerant and diverse society in Ukraine. We focus primarily on the topics of intercultural and interreligious dialogue, tolerance and diversity, human and minority tights and active participation of young people.
Youth NGO Iskra is a member organisation of UNITED for Intercultural Action, a European network against nationalism, racism, fascism and in support of migrants and refugees.

Our aims are to involve young people into volunteering on local, national and international levels, to support youth in creating and implementing their own small-scale community-based projects.
Main activities:
- Active involvement in the Youth in Action Programme as an EVS Sending Organisation (accreditation number 2011-PL-145) and a partner in youth exchanges and training courses.
- Collaboration with the International Outreach Coalition (www.iocoaliton.org) on organizing a row of educational summer programs across Ukraine.
- Presentations on volunteer opportunities and European opportunities for high schools and universities.
- Street actions promoting tolerance and diversity, anti-racist initiatives.

We provide full support for Ukrainian young people wanting to join the European Voluntary Service including assistance in finding a host organisation, consultations on preparing your application, all official paperwork upon your acceptance, insurance, pre-departure training before and evaluation meeting at the end of your service.
Our services are free of charge for the volunteer.
