With only 4 years remaining before the MDG framework comes to an end in 2015, it is clear that decisive and concerted actions need to be taken to ensure that MDG targets are met. Many countries are making progress, reducing maternal mortality and increasing coverage of effective health interventions at an accelerating pace.
The Millennium Development Goals are still achievable by 2015—but only a dramatic acceleration of commitment and financial investment can make it happen. Therefore, we would need to ensure that Nigeria aggressively pursue policies to make basic utilities and services available and affordable for all, while partnering with young people and stakeholders.
Apart from the common goal of promoting proper applications of Internet technology, we also work towards
improving professionalism of information technology practitioners, encouraging IT professionals to share social
responsibilities, as well as striving to bridge digital divide across geographical boundaries.
