ABOUT YAFICOM
Young African intellectual community is a community of young thinkers. A collectivity of young intellectuals all over the African region, who posses the mental dexterity and psychological flexibility to move from topics to topics and issues concerning the welfare of African youths and society at large. Yaficom is a network of young men and women committed in making the opportunities of life and global economy available to more young people throughout the African region. Our mission is to move our neighborhoods, our nation and the African region towards an integrated communities of shared opportunities, shared responsibilities and a shared genuine sense of belonging by awakening the intellectual spirit in the society and engaging the society in substantial and functional rationality.

Since the Youths are the trustees of posterity, the pivot of a nation and the future leaders of today and tomorrow, yaficom encourages these by spreading leadership values and help develop future leaders with a positive vision. Yaficom helps contribute to the regions development with results-driven initiatives that address its most important challenges. Above all, Yaficom assists in bridging the awareness gap between Africa and the rest of the world.

Yaficom is working to improve African educational, political, economic cum, socio-cultural systems and are organizing dialogues between young Africans and their counter parts from other parts of the world. If Yaficom succeeds in its efforts, African societies will offer more equal, constructive and sustainable life choices for young men and women and all our children will live in a more peaceful, prosperous and co-operative world. A vision of equal, stable and sustainable society will be achieved. Yaficom is inclusive of all professions:- philosophers, doctors, lawyers, engineers, bankers, scientist, poets, authors, teachers, journalist, researchers, lecturers, teachers, business men and women, civil servants and any honest person with civic aspiration.

Yaficom, in working to urbanize, professionalize and modernize youths all over the African region, engage the society in substantial and functional thinking through public lectures, publishing of magazines and media lectures. Yaficom members serve as political advisers and researchers.
