Our Mission: The YMCA is a charity offering opportunities for personal growth through participation and service to the community.
The YMCA is one of the largest and most active charitable organizations in the GTA and the fourth largest YMCA in North America. Each uear over 300,000 people benefit from the 60 programs at over 270 sites, from Brampton to Durham to Toronto.
Our Vision: The YMCA will be a leader in enhancing civil society, where people are respectful and supportive of one another, within Canada's most diverse community.

Employment: YMCA Employment Services provides training, counselling and support that youth at risk and vulnerable adults nee to realize their employment goals. Employment Services provides important community services as well, such as the Youth Substance Abuse Program, LINC, an English-language assessment service; and YMCA House, a shelter for young men in the downtown core.
Membership: YMCA membership promotes active, health living to individuals and families from all walks of life. Through our seven membership campuses in the GTA, the Y offers a multitude of programs desinged to help participants stay fit, learn new skills, fain confidence and develop an appreciation for others.
Child Care: The YMCA of Greater Toronto is the largest provider of not-for-profit child care in Canada. A staff of over 800 each day serves 5,500 childern between the ages of 6 months and 12 years. Parent value the Y's convenient locations, safety, and unique YMCA playing to Learn approach to education. Over 100,000 children have passed through the Y's Child Care system since 1973. In addition, there is YMCA Camp PineCrest, a residential summer camp, and 17 other summer day camps.
A quarter to a million people in Greater Toronto benefit directly from YMCA programs and services.
