YOUTH FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT (or simply Y4PT)www.youthforpt.org is a group of young people from all over the world interested in urban issues related to mobility. Y4PT is the international Youth voice that believes and promotes a sustainable future where large contemporary cities should be built on a local scale, with public green spaces, socially interactive, growing vibrant, economically wealthy, with holistic governance. Y4PT is struggling for a better mobility for everybody equally because it can reduce environmental impacts of citizens and contribute to social cohesion without compromising economical development.

As a youth network, Y4PT shares information and experiences about how to promote alternatives for a sustainable urban mobility. Y4PT promotes Public Transport as a solution to economic objectives, environmental issues and social gaps.

Y4PT was thought up and is directed by Ms. ALESSANDRA GORINI. An EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE supports her to get ahead the Organization and it is integrated by young people from all over the world, from different careers and age range who they are committed since the beginning.

- to develop future generation of leaders
- to empower, create awareness and sensitize urban and rural youth
- to develop entrepreneurial skills employment in pt and all related issues
- to educate and mentoring about mobility, environmental problems
- to challenge and activate dialogues and partnerships , locally and internationally
- to offer opportunities to gain access to socially and environmental jobs and markets
- to campaign, create partnerships, set independent advices and actions.
- to advocate for a better social equity
- to use design, thinking and innovation to create messages for and solutions to complex social, urban, environmental problems
