The purpose of the WSUSC is to provide a space for undergraduate students to promote personal, political and social awareness about women's issues on and off campus and to connect and communicate with other members. The club recongizes and promotes the social activism and research undergraduates do and is inclusive to all self-identifying women. The club aims to provide a support system for the undergraduate women studies community and to elevate visibility and interaction of the community and other visible undergraduate student groups on campus.

The club is a non-hierarchal, inclusive, collaborative, political and social run organization by the students of York University. It is a place where women’s studies/ sexuality studies and all other affiliates can discuss anything about issues respective to feminism and all people and anything to do with the program. rnrnThe club is essentially a safe environment open to all bodies.rnrnThe idea of a feminist collective is to encourage the promotion of women’s rights and issues within a political and social setting that is free of traditional hierarchical structures; all persons involve have equal say in issues pertaining to the collective and equal opportunity to participate. We, the collective, believe in and adhere to this concept.
