 Mission/Vision
The desired vision of VfA is to see:
Transformed individuals and communities,
A reduction of the impact that HIV/AIDS has on and in communities,
HIV/AIDS ministries with community groups, schools, faith based groups and other partners that focus on care, hope and compassion.
What does the organization do?
SIM established the HOPE for AIDS Program (HFA) in 2001. Since then, HOPE for AIDS has set up projects in over 40 countries world wide, including 14 of those most severely affected by HIV/AIDS.

Building from the HFA foundation, a new program has been created in Canada. It is called VOICE for AIDS and our mission is to continue to spread awareness and advocacy across Canada using our VOICE model, partnering with existing organizations and groups as well as with new advocates coast to coast.

The program is looking for youth to act as peer educators - or VOICES to spread awareness and further educate their peers through any methods of social engagement and interactions that are available to them. They will be trained and educated by the program coordinator and then sent out to educate their friends and circles of influence.
Youth with be continuously contacted, updated and encouraged throughout this journey as they learn and teach others simultatneously; all the while spreading the word about HIV/AIDS and its effects in our society and how we're also affected and affecting societies worldwide.
