The United Way Youth Relations Council is a growing collaborative that seeks to connect the voices of youth in Southeastern NB, and includes representation from the youth councils of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview, the YMCA Leadership Group, Boys & Girls Clubs, Angus MacDonald Centre, and a growing connection with rural communities (such as the Hillsborough Caledonia Action team – C.A.T.) thanks to an innovative “traveling meeting” strategy that has them meet in different rural areas every third month. They represent the youth branch of and receive much support from the United Way Youth First Committee, a growing collaborative that pulls together youth-serving agencies and government groups to promote a positive approach to youth development and collaboration in services.
