We would like to build the broad movement starting locally person to person, and eventually network with all the groups working on trying to stop climate chaos to make a unified global outcry. We hold rallies, public meetings with speakers, and hope to add flavour to all classic public forms of manifestation in the future. We support other groups putting on events with our connections and capabilities to distribute information.

On Sunday, December 7, 2008, at 1:00 pm in Yonge-Dundas Square, Toronto, join people across the country and take to the streets to support the Global Day of Action to Stop Global Warming.
• We wi

l be marching with others around the world to demand that the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Poznań, Poland (Dec. 1-12) support deep greenhouse gas reductions.
• In Canada, the Harper government has failed to act on global warming and has blocked progress at previous climate meetings. The Canadian Government must take a stand against global warming at home and abroad.
• We demand that the government increase support for renewable energy, energy efficiency and green jobs.
• Sign and promote the KYOTOplus petition (www.kyotoplus.ca) and join the campaign to ensure the Kyoto Protocol is strengthened and extended at the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (Nov. 30 - Dec. 11, 2009).
Join the Rally!
Without a groundswell of public opinion, we risk a global catastrophe. There is an urgent need for radical action on global warming. Make Canada part of the solution to global warming.
