Our vision is a world where young people’s human rights are respected, where their leadership skills and ability to access education, services and opportunities are empowered and they are recognized as powerful change makers and equal stakeholders in society.
Our mission is to enable young people to be their own change makers in society. (To ensure that they are not just socially conscious and understand the system but also challenge inequalities that they see in it.)
Our goal is to develop young people’s leadership skills to take action on issues that young people are passionate about and supports young people between the ages of 13 to 28 to conceptualize and implement community based projects that challenge stereotypes, forge sustainable partnerships and promote the uninhibited expression of young people.

Founded in 2002, the organization supports young people between the ages of 13 and 28 to conceptualize and implement community based projects that challenge stereotypes, forge sustainable partnerships and promote the uninhibited expression of young people.
TYPF is committed to advancing young people’s human rights by building leadership and strengthening youth led initiatives and movements as well as enabling young people’s ability to influence and create policies that further their rights. TYPF is a youth led organization where peers work to assist:
1. Young people who have existing projects they want support with.
2. Young people who would like to start projects of their own.
3. Young people who would like to volunteer with an existing project run by the organization.
4. Young people who work on developing TYPF's management systems and develop communication and fundraising skills.
5. We develop projects that focus on building awareness and advocacy, community based work and technical and skills development.
6. TYPF also helps local, national and regional groups build their advocacy skills on young people's sexual reproductive health and rights.
We also work in partnership with other adult led and youth groups in India and internationally, as we believe that working together, young people's impact and their ability to access their rights can be much greater.
