The Green Culture was created for the sole purpose of advancing the environmental movement. TGC's core mission is to serve as online advocates for environmental awareness, activism and consumer education by promoting products, services and organizations that are champions of environmental and social responsibility. TGC also assists the public in screening out companies with questionable or marginal contributions to the environment, or which solicit consumer loyalty by duplicitous 'green washing' tactics. We believe that profit should not be the only motivation for business.

The Green Culture is the premiere site for environmental consumers on the World Wide Web. It was founded in 1994 by a forward thinking trio from Southern California. TGC website provides users with up to date links to environmental news, products, services, companies and organizations that support TGC's mission as well as environmental conservation.
Since 1994, the company's focus has been concentrated in the following areas: environmental consulting and research, fund raising, market analysis, graphic / internet design, local activism and database programming.
