S4M (Students for Microbicides) provides resources to existing student organizations. S4M has been created to motivate and inspire students around the world to advocate for the successful development and distribution of microbicides and other HIV prevention technologies especially for women, through petitions, letters, and creative events that engage their campus community.
Students' for Microbicide, Nigeria is an arm of The New HIV Vaccine and Microbicide Advocacy Society (NHVMAS) which is a diverse network of advocates and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) working to expand HIV prevention options and encourage ethical research that involves civil society. In order to empower men and women on the AIDS issue, a microbicide will reduce or rather eradicate the rate of contraction of HIV/AIDS to the lowest level observed now.

The organization activities includes:
To motivate and inspire students around the world to advocate for the successful development and distribution of microbicides.
To raise students from all fields of academic studies either in the sciences, commercials and arts. To contribute our quota in raising one voice for a positive change and quick invention of Microbicides.
To provide resource materials and advocacy talk shows to existing student organizations.
To create meaningful events/seminars that engage their campus community in all round information on HIV/STI’s and MICROBICIDE.
To create community empowerments programmes and capacity building in rural areas for youths and women who will stand the chances to advocate more for the Microbicides.
To give the global campaign for microbicides (GCM) and the New HIV Vaccine and Microbicides Advocacy Society (NHVMAS) the voices and petitions of what all the students are saying worldwide on Microbicides.
To help the GCM and NHVMAS handle their respective student’s advocacy plan for the new millennium and century thereby supporting the vision 20:2020. I believed this vision starts with the students in the society and world at large.
To creating awareness even to its lowest level to making sure that by the accomplishment of vision 20:2020, we would have attained an HIV/AIDS free generation through our worldwide slogan “Stop AIDS…Keep the Promise”. Etc.
