The purpose of StandUp For Kids is to empower homeless and at-risk youth toward life-long personal growth through an on-the-streets outreach program, and to create in these youth a sincere caring and belief in themselves through open, straightforward counseling and educational programs, thereby helping them acquire the life skills necessary to become effective members of their community.

We tell homeless and street kids that we care about them and then go to the streets and prove it. Volunteer committed to the assistance of rescue of homeless and street kids. In the sewers, riverbeds, abandoned buildings, and alleys. We're there for the kids! StandUp For Kids is an all-volunteer operation. In addition to helping homeless and at-risk youth with immediate necessities such as food, clothing, shelter and personal hygiene, StandUp For Kids offers a wide array of services, including: housing assistance; education assistance; vocational development; counseling; health services; transportation to self-help meetings; and legal assistance.

Opportunities for Youth
Street Outreach if 16 or old, with parental permission.
Starting a Don't Run Away Club at their High School.
Conducting clothing, food, and hygiene product drives.
