Stand Canada is a collection of students, volunteers, and other Canadians unwilling to be complicit in genocide or crimes against humanity.Currently, we are focusing on protecting civilians and bringing about a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Darfur. Our goal is to make preventing genocide a cornerstone of Canadian foreign policy.

We make it easy to act against genocide by providing people with the tools they need to affect policy. Currently, we are focused on the crisis in Sudan. Through tools like campus groups, a telephone line called 1-800-GENOCIDE, and letter-writing campaigns, Stand-Canada allows regular people to make their voices heard against the worst crimes being committed on our planet.

Opportunities for Youth
Stand-Canada has branches on college campuses and in high schools throughout the country. Anyone who is passionate about ending genocide can be involved, either by joining an existing group or forming a new branch. Contact us for more information on how to be involved!
