Spotlight Centre for New Media is a community development organization homebased in Indonesia The organization officially commenced its operations in 2010 as a creative network of specialist from various backgrounds and disciplines working in the field of culture, arts, ICT’s and development cooperation.
Spotlights’ philosophy and founding spirit embraces the idea that sharing knowledge is the foundation for education and the beginning of lasting change, which brings benefit to all parties.

1. Community development projects that aim to improve the living standards in underserved communities through education and new media.

2. In-house productions to foster greater appreciation and understanding of contemporary Indonesian culture and arts such as; photographs, digital arts, videos, short animation, and books.

3. Commissioned work that is carried out by Spotlight’s integrated units; the design studio, the new media lab and the digital support center.

4. Events and programs with a cross culture dimension initiated by Spotlight and in collaboration with local and foreign organizations such as, workshops, exchange programs, exhibitions, symposiums, film screenings, and festivals with the focus on indigenous people and Indonesia’s cultural heritage.
