SHARP is a non-govt. and non profit organization with scientifically planned health Programme for school children professionally managed under the guidance of eminent medical experts, sociologists, educationists, psychologists, nutritional specialists and others who have vision of promoting health care of children throughout the third world countries.
UNESCO, Govt. of India and Govt. of N.C.T Delhi have approved it and the donations to SHARP are exempted u/s 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961. For the last four years SHARP has been interacting with principals and other health educators through various circulars, letters and posters covering different aspects of health care, psychological counseling, career counseling and other related topics.
In our health Programme for school children, we conduct the primary check -up in the school and monitor the health of the children regularly. The entire health data is computerized and are on-line at website and the Programme can be accessed instantaneously anytime, anywhere during subsequent years.
Besides 50 medical specialists, the Programme has 100 reputed Delhi Hospitals on its panel, which are providing concessions to school children who will be covered under the health care Programme. The Programme has a distinction of covering more than 168 public & private schools of Delhi in the year 2002-2003 under its various health care schemes.
We have centers at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad.
