Ragu is strictly a CHARITABLE NGO aim at helping the underprivileged people to reach their desired goals relying on collective responsibility of members, donors and volunteers.
our aims include the following
1. To Relief the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged,
2. To help the underprivileged also contribute to the development of our society and reduce dependency ratio in the rural area.
3. To promote the fear of God in our society through the Advancement of religion,
4. To promote education in our localities by help the underprivileged to attain their desired levels of education and also to encourage vocational education (Advancement of education or technology)
5. Lessening the burdens of government,
6. Lessening of neighborhood tensions; by acting as mediators (catalysts) in problems in our neighborhood that may generate into serious danger.
7. To help in the Elimination of prejudice and discrimination in our localities,
8. Defense of human and civil rights secured by law, and
9. Combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency.
10. To help in the advancement of health or the saving of lives.
11. To relief those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
12. To educate the masses on environmental protection and sanitation.
13. To enable cheerful givers to be able to evaluate their Godly works themselves.
From the above aims we have to understand that the beneficiaries are the people with disabilities, orphans, the distressed and other suffering groups viewed as necessary by the association in course of work.
This association depends on the collective contribution and responsibility of members, donors and volunteers governed by a board of trustees which shall be democratically elected to achieve this aims. This task requires much time and love; so please take in to consideration this facts and quotes “Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.” How ever some of us may say the task is too much but I think remembering the words of mother Teresa like “God doesn't require us to succeed; he only requires that you try.” Will solve that little Fear for a journey of 100 miles begins with a single kilometer. Again if you can’t feed a hundred people then feed just one and Let us touch the dying, the poor, the lonely and the unwanted according to the graces we have received and let us not be ashamed or slow to do the humble work.
Creating a common initiative group like RAGU is also in support of philanthropist like mother Teresa whom I wish we should take as our role model; she said “I want you to be concerned about your next door neighbor. Do you know your next door neighbor? And that even the rich are hungry for love, for being cared for, for being wanted, for having someone to call their own.!!” Taking in to consideration that the biggest disease today is not aids, leprosy or tuberculosis, but rather the feeling of being unwanted. I implore you to salute this idea with a lot of enthusiasm and confident.
With all this in mind I hope you are going to make a good decision which is to become a volunteer and help the underprivileged where ever you are.

- rehabilitating youths with hearing,speech impairment and disability,
-organizing seminars on how to care for the people with hearing,seeing and physical impairments,
doing campaigns against deadly diseases like HIV and AIDS, malaria and cholera which is still preying on some of our localities.We also fight against crime wave through encourage religion and we do not discriminate in religion.

- become an acceptable member of the society through the change of mine and education if you have any impairments as only our doctrines on the impairments will tickle you to work hard, the truth here is that everybody have specific talents giving to him by God.
