 Mission/Vision
PYO exists to support youth living with HIV/AIDS to lead meaningful, productive and happy lives until there is a world without HIV/AIDS. We also seek to empower, support and affirm the lives of young people under the age of 30 living with HIV/AIDS.
What does the organization do?
1. Advocate for ourselves to ensure that as young people living with HIV/AIDS we can live happier, healthier lives as engaged active citizens.

1. Advocate for ourselves to ensure that as young people living with HIV/AIDS we can live happier, healthier lives as engaged active citizens.
2. Support the leadership and personal development of our fellow HIV positive peers through education, skills development and support by providing new opportunities.
3. Aim to address all aspects of young people’s lives in order to reduce isolation, self-destructive behaviours and oppression.
4. Collaborate provincially, nationally and globally in the form of community outreach and educational activities to promote compassion towards and understanding of young people living with HIV/AIDS.
5. Foster the development of relationships that contribute to a feeling of community, sharing, support and hope.
