Enabling children, their families and their communities to meet their basic needs and to increase their ability to participate in and benefit from their societies;
Fostering relationships to increase understanding and unity among peoples of different cultures and countries;

Plan Canada is a member of Plan, an international, child-focused development organization with no religious, political or governmental affiliations. Internationally, we work with 1.3 million children, their families and communities in developing countries all over the world, implementing projects...

Plan Canada is a member of Plan, an international, child-focused development organization with no religious, political or governmental affiliations. Internationally, we work with 1.3 million children, their families and communities in developing countries all over the world, implementing projects at the grassroots level in health, education, water and sanitation, income-generation and cross-cultural communication. We actively involve local communities in setting up and implementing projects, including families and children. Our aim is sustainable development: a better world for children now and in the long-term future.
