Covering near 500 schools, with more than 800 professional scientists and university teachers who spend many days as volunteers by giving lectures or conducting discussions and experiments with about 3,000 the best Yugoslav (and not only Yugoslav) students every year, the PSC represents one of a few top world spontaneously generated institutions that push the rigid school system toward new methods and future technology.
With no marks, no rigid discipline, with flexible innovative programs, interactive teaching, modern equipment, with no regional or national limits for the students, open to support students small research projects, with young staff (avg. age is 26) and a thousand of enthusiastic scientists and teachers, the PSC is not only hearth of Yugoslav alternative education, but one of a very few real happy places for young people in impoverished and divided country.
