In Cambodia we see many health problems in our young people. Adolescents are at risk of unwanted pregnancy, and of STIs, HIV/AIDS transmission. Gender, Gender base violence, Masculinity, Sexuality and Reproductive health, remains a sensitive subject. Recent research suggests that communities and families are becoming more open to discussion about safeguarding young people from the risks that of unprotected sex.

People Health Development Association “PHD” established by young people from university. PHD is non-political, secular non-profit Local Non Government organization (LNGO) that focuses on working with young people in the Phnom Penh area wider Community .PHD is committed to the dignity and Freedom of all members of society and seeks to improve the quality of life of all people specifically those made vulnerable by poverty and living with HIV/AIDS. PHD seeks to contribute to sustainable development and Poverty reduction within the community. The PHD will go to implement the project activities on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) in communities to increase knowledge through the complement goals of developing a new generation of young people in communities and strengthening the enabling environment for ASRH in the communities. This program will result to improved young people participation in ASRH activities of project.

PHD has developed a sound understanding of sexual and reproductive issues in the Cambodian social context as well as strong skills in the provision of life skill training and health promotion services, Youth Center, Referral System, Counseling to youth within the framework of a rights based approach.


We are working promote and improved issue among young people in Phnom Penh city, especailly Related with Sexual reproductive Health, Gender Bas violence, Drugs, Masculinity...ect
PHD have alot of activities
- Training (life skill training, Refresher, TOT, other trining relate with health and capacity Building)
- Advocacy ( workshop, Round Table, Public Health promotion, ...ect

Out Youth center ( promotion by peer to other young people in shool and out of shool)
