Established in 2004, the Peel Environmental Youth Alliance (PEYA) is a network of students in the Peel Region concerned about environmental issues and determined to make positive change.
PEYA provides: a forum to share student ideas, support to other students and teachers looking to create environmental projects, and fun and effective educational events, such as the annual EcoBuzz Conference. PEYA is a project of the environmental education charity, EcoSource.

PEYA provides the following:
Network - PEYA unites students across Peel working on environmental initiatives in their schools and neighbourhoods and provides a forum for students to learn from one another and to form relationships with local environmental organizations.

Network - PEYA unites students across Peel working on environmental initiatives in their schools and neighbourhoods and provides a forum for students to learn from one another and to form relationships with local environmental organizations.
Support - Based on existing student expertise, PEYA provides support to other students and teachers looking to manage environmental projects or clubs in their schools.
Education - PEYA organizes fun and effective educational events including the annual Ecobuzz conference!

PEYA has many opportunities for environmentally – minded youth within and beyond the Peel region. Students can connect with one another through our monthly networking meetings and frequent events. Students have access to resources and opportunities within the community, along with connections...

PEYA has many opportunities for environmentally – minded youth within and beyond the Peel region. Students can connect with one another through our monthly networking meetings and frequent events. Students have access to resources and opportunities within the community, along with connections to local environmental organizations. Furthermore, students are able to get support from PEYA while running their own activities within their school’s environmental clubs.
