The Ogun State Youth Wing of the Nigerian Red Cross Society is involved in:
- Youth development activities/programmes and training.
- In times of peace, to assist in the improvement of health, prevention of disease and mitigation of suffering through out the world.
- Training of volunteers on Emergency First Aid Teams (EFATs)for timely and effective response.
- Community based programmes -HIV/AIDS, Health eduction, Child and maternal health, First aid, Prison sanitation, Motherless and abandoned babies homes, Blood donor recruitment services, Water sanitation, among others.
- Reunite family members separated during conflicts.
- Dissemination of International Humanitarian Law (IHL).
- Mobilise volunteers to offer first aid to sick and wounded for both parties armies and non belligerents in accordance with the spirit and condition of the Geneva convention and additional protocols.
