Nawabshah Disability Forum (NDF) is a non-profitable organization for disabled a person, that is being run by the energetic and dynamic team comprised upon the special persons on the basis & the logo i.e. “help yourself. It was established in the year 2002 to support the under privileged community of disabled persons. The area of operation thereof stands to be the vicinity of Dstrict Shaheed Benazir Abad (Nawabshah). Our organization is a “crossing disability organization. N.D.F. is an associate member of APCD Thailand, Co-member of provincial network of disabled persons S.D.F and National Network PDPO-Pakistan.

OBJECTIVES

 To provide /deliver skill development through vocational trainings i.e. Tailoring, Embroidery, Computer Courses, English Language Learning etc.
 To promote self employment through skill development to curb the poverty within the District at first.
 To start supporting the disabled persons financially through micro credits.
 To help special persons to aware them about their basic amenities/rights through Court of law along the cooperation of the notables/ bureaucracy enabling them to have them met their merit wherever it is existing in what the organization.
4. SERVICES
 Skill Development Centre established which is providing services to persons with disabilities as under:
 Vocational Training in sewing for ladies and gents.
 Training in embroidery for both male and female.
 Beautician courses.
 Computer Lab established for the Short courses, CIT, DIT for special persons.
 Training about chair- knitting for blind in a very special case as well as for the other category of the persons being suffered disability .
 Providing helping Aids, wheel chairs, hearing aid, White cane, crutches, etc.
 Taleemaat -e- Quran is also taught in the centre.
 English Language learning centre.
 Job opportunities in different departments.
 Equal opportunities to promote sports skills by playing wheel chair cricket, badminton, basket ball, and disk throw etc.

2. NDF to launch self reliance credit scheme for person with disabilities.
3. NDF will create an equality based society for person with disabilities.
4. NDF to facilitate PWD’s at their door step. We want to provide free training of various cadres to make them self reliant and useful citizen of society.
5. NDF to launch special education schools at rural sides to facilitate 70 % population of Pakistan.
