As the Foundation has grown over the last 15 years, its mandate has also evolved to reflect the changing needs of Aboriginal students and the Aboriginal community. To address the growth, the Foundation will now focus its energies in three areas: educational programs; production of the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards; and Blueprint for the Future, a series of Aboriginal youth career fairs. Strategically, the Foundation will endeavor to build its combined educational trusts, which reached $5.16 million by the end of the fiscal 99/00.
