Established in 1944, Mothercraft™ Ottawa is a charitable, non-profit organization that provides programs and services for parents with infants and young children. Our mission is to enhance the well being of families through responsive, quality services and we achieve this by developing innovative programs and support services. For six decades, Mothercraft Ottawa has been a respected family service and child care centre in our community.

Community leaders in volunteerism, Mothercraft Ottawa has been helping Ottawa families thrive and grow through our many child and family service programs including comprehensive prenatal classes, doula labor support, parenting classes and drop-in playgroups. We also offer full-time childcare for children aged 18 months to 12 years, plus Ottawa’s only part-time/respite childcare program for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.
Birth and Parent Companion Program
