Medsin is a network of healthcare students who raise awareness of and take action on humanitarian and global health issues at a local, national and international level. We encourage students to get involved with projects and campaigns that they feel are important or underrepresented at university and that relate to health issues such as refugees, homeless ness of HIV. Formed in 1997, Medsin is a network of motivated medical students active in curriculum issues, community projects, international exchanges, campaigns and conferences.

All our projects are run by students. These include Marrow - getting students onto the bone marrow register, Sexpression - teaching sex education in schools, CPRiS - teaching CPR in schools, Homed - working with homeless people, Crossing Borders - working with refugees. We also run campaigns on fair trade, Stop AIDS and Water Aid. We facilitate the IFMSA exchange program in the UK for medical students to swap places with a student from another country.
