MasterPeace is an international bottom-up peace initiative with the major goal to involve people in peace building. As peace-building is a verb, we want to mobilize millions of people everywhere around the world to work for the sake of peace in the broadest sense, including (social) sustainability, the reduction of (armed) conflicts (on both individual and global levels) and international collaboration.
We are dedicated to put:
MUSIC above FIGHTING
DIALOGUE above JUDGMENT
BREAD above BOMBS
CREATION above DESTRUCTION
People can do it. That's MasterPeace.

1- International Day of Peace celebration around the world
One of MasterPeace goals is to raise awareness for this yearly and potentially unifying day. A successful International Day of Peace can provide more documentaries, songs, events, peace building initiatives et cetera worldwide, to support peace in general and related organizations and messages in particular.
In year 2011 our clubs and partners celebrated the international day of peace in 10 different countries.
2- 2014 MasterPeace Concert
MasterPeace believes that Art and Music are excellent medium that can be used in order to have individuals and politicians from different conflict areas gathered in one place and participate in the same event with positive perspective. One of our projects is The 2014 Concert, the idea of this project is to have 20 top artists from different conflict areas around the world paired with 20 other political leaders from conflict areas singing and performing on stage. For instance, we have Juanes the famous Colombian singer and 17 times Grammy award winner that will be performing with Desmond Tutu, South African bishop of the TRC.
One other reason behind this initiative is to reward the peace activists all over the world, and to provide them with a sense of urgency to take an action for a more peaceful world, and in return they will earn their ticket to our mega unforgettable concert.
3- Educational program
In Europe and the Middle East MasterPeace is developing and testing special multi-hours programs with an innovative mixture of lessons, materials and activities focused on empowerment, peace education, creating artistic ‘Masterpeaces’, social entrepreneurs hip and fundraising.
Youths learn to first analyze conflicts in their private life, from family to neighborhood, and develop activities and skills to tackle this. At the end of the program they learn about global conflicts and ways to get involved in pushing them back. They use social media to inspire each other and co-create a worldwide student peace network.
4- MasterPeace Journey: The Alchemist Alive
Paulo Coelho has given permission to make his famous novel ‘The Alchemist’ come alive. In every country of the world, MasterPeace (and especially the MasterPeace Clubs) will inspire individuals to become the shepherd boy of this story and start traveling towards the Pyramids in Egypt as green and visible as possible. Due to the involvement of sport clubs, travel websites, libraries and others, we expect at least 10,000 participants, all of them earning their entry for the

1- Peace Day Celebration
Promoting the International Day of Peace is one of the most important goals of MasterPeace. We want individuals from all over the world to start recognizing this day. We aim to reach an average global rate of 50% awareness by 2014.
2- Build a MasterPeace Club
MasterPeace Clubs are the on-the-ground arms of MasterPeace that implement our goals and initiatives. They reach the masses and empower more individuals to become actively involved in peace-building and limiting (armed) conflicts on a local level.
By using simple entrepreneurial techniques and creative ideas, MasterPeace Clubs will form an active, engaged, alert, positive and inter-cultural network of peaceminded and action oriented people.
3- Start MasterPeace Journey
Paulo Coelho, the renowned novel author, has honored MasterPeace to make his famous novel “The Alchemist” come alive. In every country of the world, MasterPeace will inspire individuals to become the ‘shepherd boy’, the main character of the novel, and start traveling towards the Egyptian Pyramids in the most eco-friendly and visible possible way.
4- Earn their ticket to MasterPeace Mega Concert
MasterPeace believes in the power of the crowd. We believe that individuals are capable of changing the world positively; they have this unique power of sending a call to millions of other agents of change to take action and create awareness about peace. ‘2014 for 2014’ is a project based on this belief; as people are our most valuable resource we are planning to have at least one third of MasterPeace Global costs crowd funded from the masses. of MasterPeacers.
‘2014 for 2014’ plan is very simple: Organize a music, art, dance event to raise awareness for peace-building and combine this with raising at least € 2014. The initiative ‘2014 for 2014’ wants to involve 5000 projects in peace processes. Each ‘2014 for 2014’ donation will be rewarded by receiving invitations for the 2014 MasterPeace Mega Concert to be held in Egypt.
