Welcome to the Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth website. The purpose of the website is to provide Manitoba’s students, parents, and educators with information about the wide range of programs and services available through the Department. These pages highlight innovative programs and services that support lifelong learning.
Students and youth may also want to look at our Opportunitiesmb.ca website, which serves as a portal for youth programs across government departments. I encourage you to provide suggestions and feedback so that we can continue to improve our websites.
Thank you for visiting the Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth website. Your interest in educational excellence is truly appreciated.

The Division works closely with youth, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, community groups, educational institutions, provincial departments, and other levels of government to accomplish two main goals:
To work with prospective employers to facilitate the hiring of students and youth up to age 29 by providing internships, grants, job referrals, mentorship and bursary opportunities, and wage incentives. The Division delivers over 20 employment programs.
To be the single source of information for all youth programs and services offered by the Government of Manitoba. The Division would like to make it easier for youth to access over 200 provincial programs and services.
