Focusing on human creativity and social productivity, the Likhaan Youth Action Network (LYAN) envisions the sustainable, equitable development and transformation of communities for both rural and urban regions of the country through youth-led programs and projects in collaboration & partnership with the other sectors.

LYAN's purpose:

1. To promote and encourage youth participation in building communities through partnerships, collaboration and collective youth action;

2. To provide services and resources for effective socio-economic activities for community development and urban renewal.

LYAN implements its programs, projects and activities in strategic partnership with professional/civic associations, private foundations/organizations and government agencies, which allow for the greater pooling of resources and experience, and serves as model for collaboration that maximizes impact on youth development, community building and economic improvement.
