Mission/Vision
LAXMI’s envisages establishment of a society that is free from exploitation of women and empowerment of women as equal participants in society’s social and economic progress. Its programs are implemented with gender sensitive, rights based and poverty focused perspectives.

Responding to the need for counseling and support services, LAXMI, , began establishing Youth Information Centers (YICs), which were provided with materials and peer counselors. The YICs provide scientific information and guidance to young people (men and women) seeking advice on HIV/AIDS.
LAXMI runs four YICs in intervention areas, which are linked to the District Hospital and other centers for referral support.
