(1) To work toward and achieve the all-round development of Kayan region
(2) To promote preservation of natural environments in Kayan region
(3) To promote Kayan culture such as literature, language, traditional costumes, belief, and etc...
(4) To cultivate freedom, openness, transparency, and unity in Kayan’s community
(5)To be on equal terms with and work in hand with other ethnic nationalities
And we hope to obtain an administrative region for the dispersed Kayan people.

1. Training Kayan villages in Human Rights and preservation of the environment
2. Conducting informal courses on democracy, federalism and conflict resolution for youths and adults in the Kayan region.

Our activities include the following:
1. Training Kayan villages in Human Rights and preservation of the environment
2. Conducting informal courses on democracy, federalism and conflict resolution for youths and adults in the Kayan region.
3. An annual conference that is open to all youths from within the Kayan and neighboring regions.
4. Collecting books and materials with a view to opening public libraries in the Kayan region.
5. Composing a Kayan language program for broadcast on the Democratic Voice of Burma.
6. Running and updating a Kayan website.
7. Kayan cultural promotion programs for both general and special occasions.
