If you're 17 to 21 years of age, want to see Canada, meet all sorts of different people and live the adventure of a lifetime, Katimavik is for you! For seven months, you'll live in three provinces with 10 young people in your age group from the four corners of the country. You'll learn French, acquire a wide variety of useful experiences working as a volunteer on community projects, and develop your leadership abilities. Here's your chance to make a difference, discover your skills, perhaps launch your life's journey!

For seven months, you'll live with 10 young people aged 17 to 21 from every region of Canada. You'll learn French and participate in community life in three provinces, where you'll acquire a variety of useful experiences working as a volunteer on local projects. Develop your leadership skills, improve your understanding of environmental issues, accomplish projects, join in all sorts of activities and tackle stimulating challenges. Katimavik gives you an opportunity to see your country and to really make a difference, for yourself and others, in partnership with other young people who want to broaden their horizons and discover how others live.
