bullet Mission/Vision

The ICYE programme in France commenced in 1959. Since 1988, the National Committee is run by "Jeunesse et Reconstruction", a volunteer organisation active since 1948. There is one staff plus volunteers.

bullet What does the organization do?

The programme is aimed at 18 to 27 year olds. Most exchangees will be living at their work placements.

Projects include working at youth hostels, with the disabled or the elderly, with HIV positive people, refugees and with NGOs active in supporting the homeless.
