The Jago Bangladesh encourages people to support the current reform process and drive against corruption in Bangladesh. At the same time also encourages NRBs to critically analyse the work of institutions involved in Bangladesh governance.
The Jago Bangladesh is a common platform open to all in working together for common democratic objectives and better Bangladesh.
The dream of Jago Bangladesh is to free the country from the clutches of corruption and introduce constructive democratic system and modern politics. Politicians have looted the country during last 36 years. We are tired, sicken and disgusted by their corruption and familification of the government. On 1/11, our fate started to turn and we are standing behind the caretaker government to bring these culprits to justice and to rebuild our beloved country that many have sacrificed their life for.
Every nation has a few defining moments in history. For Bangladesh 1/11 is one of them. It will stand out as one of the brightest one in its history.
To us it is like the “French Revolution” where people have taken back power from the “autocratic and corrupt” the so called “democratic ruling elite”.
To us it is an opportunity to serve our nation at a historic juncture. To us it is an opportunity to participate in the second Liberation War of Bangladesh.
Jago Bangladesh is a non-political forum promoting image building exercise showing achievements of Bangladesh worldwide. We want to project to the world and more importantly to “Ourselves”- as to “What is RIGHT with Bangladesh” and our achievements in different sectors during past 36 years. Jago Bangladesh will discourage those elements of Bangladeshi overseas and in the country who always do negative publicity about Bangladesh to the foreign institution and foreign political body. We want to change all Bangladeshi’s “Mind set” to think positively under the slogan of “Jago Bangladesh- we can do it”.
Jago Bangladesh came into existence by a handful of concerned and passionate members to endure similar vision to all the Bangladeshis in the world when an opportunity to enforce the transformation of a corrupt regime was created by the current reform of the caretaker government.
Jago Bangladesh is the voice of those Bangladeshi who wants prosperous and better Bangladesh. We want Bangladesh to be a country, free from corruption, establish and enforce law and justice system that guarantees civilised society and up hold the civic right of all citizens of Bangladesh.
To increase and improve participation of Expatriate Bangladeshis for the development of Bangladesh.
