Iraj Education & Development Foundation is a non profit and non governmental organization working in the field of Education, child rights, Peace and human Rights. It was set up by young sensitive group of Pakistanis to increase the degrading situation of human rights and education in Pakistan. It is working since March 2001 in urban and ruler area of Pakistan. IEDF working under the Board of trustees. The Board of Trustees approve polices and make any decision. I t was register on 21st March 2001. The registration number is 3717.

Advocacy for Real Democracy through Street plays
Iraj Education & Development Foundation-IEDF started a project in collaboration with TFD (Taiwan Foundation for Democracy) in February 2008 entitled as 'Advocacy for real democracy through real democracy' beginning to till date this project remains booming in awareness. Everyone appreciate the struggle to expose violence of human rights as well as suggest alternative system to overcome it. IEDF believes that street theatre can play an important role in human development as well as in development of a country. From this belief, they have been working with their utmost sincerity.
2) School Leadership Development Program
IEDF is also conducting training of principals and vice principals of primary and secondary schools of Punjab to enhance their skills and development about school management. Punjab Education Foundation-PEF is providing funding for the project .IEDF has already trained more than 500 schools around the province. It has strong network of private schools.

Cluster Based Training Program
The main purpose of project was to train teachers of private schools in Mathematics, English and Science. IEDF has trained more than 1500 teachers of private schools of around 10 districts of Punjab. The certified trainers of PEF have conducted these CBTs in around the province.
Iraj School System
Iraj School System is a self reliant project of IEDF initiated in the population of around 30,000 inhabitants (public school doesn't exist in this big shanty town of Arifwala, district Pakpattan). More than 200 children are getting education in this school. IEDF is planning to open more schools for marginalized children after setting standards of education. The project has been outstanding opportunity for those children who haven't access to go into far public schools.
Teachers Resource Center
A project was funded by Canadian International Development agency- CIDA Islamabad. The main Purpose of the project was to conduct 3 ten Days training workshops on Human Rights for Teachers and parents of primary Schools in Arifwala. Around 200 people were trained. 10 Human Rights were set up in different communities of Arifwala, District Pakpattan. The duration of project was one year.
Adult Literacy Centers
The main purpose of the project was to set up adult literacy centers for women. IEDF has transformed 750 illiterate adult women into literate under this project. National Commission for Human Development-NCHD Provided funds for this project. Professional Development of Teachers & Administrators. The main purpose of the project was to enhance professional capacity of teachers and administrators of private and public schools of Arifwala, District Pakpatan. The duration of the Project was 12 Months.
Women's Political Participation
Women's political participation project was implemented in collaboration with Socio Engineering Consultant Islamabad. The main purpose of the project was to collect data and trained ladies councilor of Punjab.
Strengthening Iraj Taha Model School
The main purpose of the project was to provide the quality of education to poor and marginalized children of Arifala and strengthen the existing Taha Model School. The project was funded by Trust for Volunteer Organization, Faisalabad, Pakistan. The duration of the project was 18 Months.
