The mission of our organization is to support the uniting of young people, to establish international contacts, and to run international projects.

The non-governmental organization of Saint-Petersburg “International Youth Service” was established on September 1st in 1995. Since we began we have managed to develop numerous programs for young people and to make connections with youngsters in different countries.

We pay great attention to supporting partnership relations between Russian and foreign youth organizations. International Youth Service cooperates with Committees and Departments on Youth Affairs in many different countries (Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and others).

IYS organizes special events, meetings, forums, seminars, conferences and round tables in order to establish relationships in the social and cultural sphere and to help realize international and inter-regional contacts between Russian and foreign youth.

For the last years we have been successfully running a numerous number of exchange programs - between Russia and Germany, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and within Russian Federation. For the last two years a lot of young people took part in exchange programs from different countries.
Recently due to the growing interest to this program and efforts in finding partners, more youngsters from Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Russia, Crimea, Finland and Sweden became the participants of our programs.
International Youth Service is constantly cooperating with the Committee on Youth Policy of Saint-Petersburg. We are also honored to cooperate with the Council of Europe, European Commission and Ministry on Education of Finland.
