We have quite ambitious goals, yet at the same time, are also realistic as to our limitations. At this time, we have handed out one loan, and considering that we have enough to lend out another two, we are extremely proud of our accomplishments. The great thing about Microloans is that they're loans, so we do get repaid, and the money that we get back goes to another recipient, and so on and so forth. We hope to change the lives of entire families and communities, and know that we're doing something good, and changing people's lives. Lastly, we hope that our work and efforts and results will inspire and motivate other students to do the same and change the lives of more people.

According to the New Yorker, Microloans are 'small loans to poor entrepreneurs, usually in developing countries'. To us, they are ways for us to share our wealth with those who need it, and a chance for us to make a difference in this world. We are a group composed of BLANK students, and one teacher. We raise money to loan out to those in need with the help of a local organization, and at the same time, also educate others in our community as to what Microloans actually is.

The main thing to remember is that it doesn't matter how small you think your donation is, because it's guaranteed to make a difference.
