IECD’s Harmony in Diversity (HD) Program aims at promoting mutual beneficial respect, understanding, shared values, enrichment and peaceful co-existence especially among children and youth of diverse cultural heritage.The program activities are driven towards a compatible resolution of social differences.

The HD program activites engages children and youth in cultural exchange activities like, youth assemblies, games and sports, local and international tours (learning journeys), other interactive programming, exhibitions and concert performances in music, dance as well as other art forms that transcend language barriers. The program enables actual interaction of individuals /groups engaged in cultural life. This is one of the ways through which children and youths are learning more about themselves and the rest of the world.

ntegrated Community Development Education (ICDE) program enables young people to acquire dependable reliable, moral, social skills and values for a sustainable development. The programme involves the transmission of the cultural heritage and continual adoption of such heritage to meet the changing needs of the society.

Cultural Festival
Annual cultural festival provide platform for cultural interaction and cultural expressions, through free flow by word and image of cultural products in order to promote intra and inter cultural exchange and enhance appreciation of the role of culture in national development and harmonious co-existence. Festivals provide an opportunity for dialogue, debates, exhibition and reconciliation along music, dance and drama and cerebration of social achievements.

IECD is a dynamic fast growing NGO seeking innovative and creative self-motivated volunteers to experience the practical work environment. IECD recruits volunteers to assist in furtherance of our community development programs.
