In August 2005, Wyspa Institute of Art launched its artist-in-residence programme, which will in future also be offered to curators, art critics and scholars working in the field of visual culture. Two Parisiennes, Fanny Adler and Cecile Paris, Berlin-based Rene Lueck and Zbigniew Libera, currently living in Warsaw, are the first guests of the programme. The outcome of their stay was presented within the framework of the "Dockwatchers" exhibition. The artists' stay and new works were financed by the French-German Cultural Projects in Other Countries Programme, along with the French Embassy in Warsaw and the Goethe-Institut in Warsaw.
Jeanne Susplugas was a guest in 2005 invited by cooperation with Espace Croisé. She will realise her own project in August this year.
