1. Development Dialogue:-
Initiative Nepal (Steps for Better lives) through participatory youth engagement in collaboration with Leading Minds have initiated to bring democratic dialogue to the public and aspire to travel around what democracy and sustainable development mean in the different cultural and civilization milieus and how they are realized at personal and public levels.

We are working to bring the Development Dialogue forum accessible to citizen's participation from all walks of lives thus making it attractive for more and more citizens to public life. The idea of participation is extremely important for peace and social balance of the society. It also stimulates them to talk, cooperate and take part in areas of their concern.

All the way through this endeavor Initiative Nepal seeks to influence state policymaking, help in shaping public opinion and collective will formation.

2. Nature Conservation in Lowlands of Nepal for Sustainable Livelihood of Indigenous Communities through Participatory Youth Engagement”. It is implemented in joint collaboration of Leading Minds and Initiative Nepal (Steps for Better lives).

The programme brings together local organizations and people from all walks of life in nature conservation work. The goal of the programme is to conserve and promote local knowledge, culture and practices for biodiversity conservation and sustainable natural resources management.

3. Urban Out of School Programme: With support from UNICEF Nepal, Initiative Nepal is putting its efforts in better future of urban poor students who are deprived of education.

4. Addressing Energy Crisis at local level through Pro Poor Enterpreneurship

5. Rural Electrification Programme-The programme is in the implementation phase

6. Bridging the Digital Divide in Nepal: The programme has been conducted in Parsa, Rauthat, Sarlahi in coordination with District Education Office Parsa, Radio Namaste, Canada, Radio Nunthar, Rauthat, and local schools/collages.

7. Organic Farming as an Alternative to Years of Marijuana Cultivation in Parsa District: The programme is being implemented in coordination with local clubs, cooperatives and local government bodies.

Influence collective will-formation and the policy culture; to grasp the dynamics of modernity, help open up the society as well as to address historical and social circumstances of underdevelopment by empowering community-building projects based on social trust, equity and respect for nature.
