With justice, respect and compassion as governing principles, and through the unique partnership opportunities created by the Internet, HumanHorizons.Net is committed to the elimination of poverty, prejudice, racism and illiteracy and finding new ways of living within a global community.

Our Purposes

To facilitate, promote and carry on programs and projects which encourage communities to become more self-sufficient by encouraging individual and community enterprise.


To facilitate, promote and carry on programs and projects which assist in alleviating hunger, sickness and social deprivation.


To promote sharing between peoples of cultural and artistic differences, by mutual dialogue and education.

To encourage young people to share with each other around the world their culture, ideals, and enthusiasm by involving them in dialogue and education.

To foster human understanding and co-operation.

Today, communications technology and world travel have allowed us to experience, share and appreciate cultural differences in developing countries. As people either with a social commitment, travellers or cruising yacht people, we have a unique opportunity.

HumanHorizons.Net is one of the first organisations dedicated to assisting the developing world to be based solely on the internet. All members of HumanHorizons.Net are volunteers, there are no paid staff, no offices, no membership or joining fees.

HumanHorizons.Net, through the internet, links like-minded people who want to make a difference.

Our Projects
All projects are supported by volunteers using their talents and creativity.

All resources go directly to the project and no funds are utilised for administration or salaries.

HumanHorizons.Net is a resource network and specialises in micro projects while working with local communities. Should a project be larger than our capability and involves finances, then Human Horizons invites other agencies or charities as project partners. Human Horizons projects are currently underway or are being developed in the Fiji Islands and Mexico.
