GreenLearning Canada's goals are to:
- provide young people, ages 9 to 24, with rich and authentic learning experiences that build literacy, knowledge and skills, and that foster inquiry and critical thinking about energy issues and solutions
- motivate youth to demonstrate social and environmental leadership in their own lives, schools and communities
- create engaging, interactive, high-quality resources and programming for formal and non-formal energy and environmental education that are highly valued and well-used by educators.
In the business of energy and environmental education since 1985, GreenLearning Canada was incorporated as an independent not-for-profit organization in 2010.

Opportunities for Youth
Youth ages 19 to 24 participate in the Redfish School of Change: a unique and accredited six-week experiential field school in southern British Columbia that explores strategies for creating ecological sustainability and social equity with passionate educators and other inspiring change-makers...

Youth ages 19 to 24 participate in the Redfish School of Change: a unique and accredited six-week experiential field school in southern British Columbia that explores strategies for creating ecological sustainability and social equity with passionate educators and other inspiring change-makers (http://www.schoolofchange.ca).
Younger students participate in GreenLearning Canada's eLearning and other programs. They create eCards on energy topics to send to decision-makers (http://ecards.greenlearning.ca). They also participate in an annual Solar Oven Challenge, and learn to build small-scale wind turbines, hydro-generators, and biogas generators (http://www.re-energy.ca).
