Graffiti Art Programming accomplishes its goals/objectives through three (3) core programs designed
specifically to address those goals/objectives - the st.Art Program, the Urban Canvas Program and the Graffiti
Gallery. The st.Art Program provides a series of free, after school workshops in a variety of art forms (traditional
and contemporary) in a safe environment that supports the concept of creative freedom in all its forms and
promotes that creativity in as many ways as possible; fostering self esteem, enhanced work ethics and capacity
building. The Urban Canvas Program provides a year long life skills training program using art as a tool to deliver
those life skills; an arts' cooperative/social enterprise is attached to UCP. The Graffiti Gallery is a contemporary
exhibit space for any and all aspiring, emerging young artists.

The program also organizes summer camps. Each camp runs for 6 weeks and includes an art camp for children and a dynamic
hip hop day studio for youth.
Throughout the year our artists also participate in various events in our community as part of our outreach efforts to engage new
children, youth and their caregivers in their community. Check our Calendar of Events and please do plan to join us! Come see
what art can do for you!
GAP gratefully acknowledges our many community partners, whose cooperation and vision have helped make this program so
successful.
