We envision Shared Outcomes in International Development.

Globalhood was created to improve collaboration across the various disciplines working in international development.  Traditionally, development work suffers from a lack of collaboration that often results in failed projects, ineffective programs and wasted resources.  And while development organizations can readily recover from such setbacks, the populations to which we are trying to be of benefit are left to bear the continuing costs of such mistakes.
Globalhood is committed to supporting successful and sustainable international development by serving as a consultancy for existing initiatives and by creating new in-house initiatives, all with a multidisciplinary focus. We are committed to advocating for increased awareness of and credit for shared outcomes. Our mission is to create and enhance development initiatives by growing connections and providing resources across disciplines.
Globalhood intends to prove that working through the lens of multidisciplinary collaboration across perspectives and professions, and partaking in shared outcomes, results in improved achievements towards addressing global development challenges, and is therefore necessary in order to implement ethical, sustainable, and effective initiatives for traditionally marginalized populations.

We provide resources and consulting to enable other organizations to effectively improve their international development initiatives.

Our primary initiatives are currently:
GLOBAL POTENTIAL
A groundbreaking initiative increasing job market opportunities and life skills for disadvantaged youth by providing mentoring and community development project work experience in developing countries.

GLOBAL VOTE
An innovative internet-based democratic tool that uses shadow voting and polling systems to inform and comment upon the policy decisions of International Organizations and advocate for fair representation in voting for resolutions that affect people across the globe.

We are youth-led, youth-friendly, and welcome collaborators in all areas of the organization. As we are volunteer driven, all opportunities are currently unpaid.
