GATE is the first student organization aiming the technical development of the FECU’s (Faculty of Engineering - Cairo University) students, fully established and managed by students; we are currently organizing three different programs in the fields of Mechanical, Civil, Telecommunications, Electrical, and Petroleum Engineering.

What does the organization do?
General Program:
where we address all the students of the department to acquire general knowledge about the applications related to their field with further scope over our year’s theme; this year’s theme is the R&D (Research & Development), trying to declare those concepts and stress...

General Program:
where we address all the students of the department to acquire general knowledge about the applications related to their field with further scope over our year’s theme; this year’s theme is the R&D (Research & Development), trying to declare those concepts and stress over their importance in every industry, furthermore, encourage participants follow a related career path.
GATE Academy:
where the students join according to their academic year and are enrolled, trained, and promoted accordingly; they receive practical training corresponding and adapted to their specific curriculums, to finally receive their graduation certificate from the Academy in parallel to the other from the Faculty.
Bachelor Program:
a pilot project aiming raising our faculty’s graduation projects to the next level, through managerially sponsoring them, offering customized training programs for their participants, giving them a much more efficient chance for working on their projects.

Developing an engineering students’ generation believing and capable of applying the academic and practical experiences acquired throughout the years of undergraduate study.
Innovation, as we promote new ideas and welcome positive changes, hence our dedication of two committees on our organizational structure for continuously incubating and producing new ideas aiming the refining of our performing to the optimum.
Professional Volunteerism, as we adopt quite organized work procedures and rules that govern our attitude essentially based upon our sense of volunteerism and love to help build creating a commitment to perform as efficient and productive as possible.
Sustainability, as we evaluate on the long-run, caring not only for the present of GATE, yet its future performance to continue to exist, serve its vision and mission, and interact with its stakeholders.
