Future Leaders is Greater Toronto's community of outstanding young professionals and entrepreneurs. We offer a full range of activities that help our members develop their skills, meet other young professionals, and make our city a better place.
One thing about Future Leaders is clear: We're not a standard networking group. We're a community. People don't come to Future Leaders just to shake hands, trade business cards, and walk away. No, they come for the environment - where anyone, whether a newcomer to Toronto or a veteran member of our group, can feel comfortable, pitch in, and if they so desire, take a leadership role.
One thing about the Toronto Junior Chamber is clear: We're not a standard networking group. We're a community. People don't come to The TJC just to shake hands, trade business cards, and walk away. No, they come for the environment -- where anyone, whether a newcomer to Toronto or a veteran member of our group, can feel comfortable, pitch in, and if they so desire, take a leadership role.
That's what The Toronto Junior Chamber is about:
Cultivating tomorrow's leaders. How do we do it? By focusing on excellence and on what our members want. Our leadership conferences feature the titans of industry, CEOs from leading companies who transfer valuable leadership experience to our members. Our service activities let members form strong bonds while giving back to the community. TJC members are motivated each month to bring valuable skills back to their organizations and the community.
The Toronto Junior Chamber is dedicated to the development of the business leaders of the 21st century. Diversity of membership is one of the greatest assets of the TJC which is comprised of ambitious 18-40 year olds from a variety of occupations including entrepreneurs, financial professionals, lawyers, artists/designers, sales and
marketing professionals and community leaders to highlight just a few.
Such breadth of membership experience and interests contributes to the development of cross-functional and cross-industry learning and experience for all members. Despite this diversity, each member has a common interest to learn and improve as young business
professionals thereby leading and participating in the enrichment and improvement of the communities where they live and work.
