The organization was formed due to research based on art and literacy statistics in Lesotho and the behavior of most Basotho nation towards art and literacy. Art is a medium of living for most in Basotho, but artists there have no support within the country. Literacy is a problem; people get HIV/AIDS due to socio-cultural behavior. "If you want to keep a secret for Mosotho write it in the book" is a common Basotho proverb. In many Basotho homes you find only one book called the Bible, so we work towards having books in the homes of Basotho, as well as change and recognition in art and literacy in Lesotho for all of Basotho.
